Honduras Housing Bank Runs Short of Money to Lend

Banhprovi, Honduras's state housing bank, has just 300 million lempiras (about $12 million) left for first-tier lending and nothing new for second-tier lending, squeezing mortgage credit for families and stalling construction as the country faces an estimated shortage of 1.6 million homes.
