Honduras Toughens Femicide Penalties, Creates All-Female Courts

Honduras has enacted criminal-code reforms that raise femicide sentences from 25–30 years to as much as 60 years in aggravated cases and create specialized courts staffed entirely by women judges to handle femicide and violence-against-women cases.
