Congresswoman Dunia Jiménez (Libre, Cortés) has proposed exempting mortgages and small-business loans from Honduras's Tasa de Seguridad Poblacional, a fee she says raises borrowing costs and shuts entrepreneurs and homebuyers out of credit.
