Hospital Satuyé on Roatán faces shortages of air-conditioning units, desks, and filing equipment, with some cooling systems failing despite being less than a year old, the hospital administrator said.

Roatán's municipal government is hosting a free dental clinic from August 10–14 staffed by more than 20 dentists from Mexico, the United States, and Honduras, offering extractions, cleanings, sealants, and preventive care to an estimated 1,500 residents.
