Parade

Tegucigalpa's municipal government removed 56 tons of debris left behind after September 15 independence-day parades, deploying 590 workers and heavy machinery across Boulevard Suyapa and the National Stadium.

Lt. Col. Ever David Maldonado Chacón, a Honduran Army parachutist who suffered a severe spinal injury during a freefall jump at last year's independence celebration, returned to the National Stadium in a wheelchair to participate in this year's parade, where President Nasry Asfura honored his recovery and resilience.

Instituto Gubernamental Mixto Hibueras is fielding 112 students in marching bands, baton twirlers, and cheerleaders for Honduras's September 15 independence parade at the National Stadium, with choreography incorporating cumbia, merengue, punta, and salsa.
