Nueva Med

Employees of the fraudulent medical clinic Nueva Med say its Colombian management fabricated medical credentials, threatened workers into silence with confidentiality contracts, and used call centers with Honduran databases to solicit patients for costly fake treatments.

A former employee at the Nueva Med clinic in Tegucigalpa testified that salespeople without medical training posed as doctors, used false diagnoses to frighten patients, and pressured them into buying unnecessary treatments as part of an alleged fraud operation run by Colombians.

The criminal investigation agency and consumer protection prosecutor inspected Nueva Med clinic after investigative reports documented it offering free consultations and diagnosing patients with unproven bioquantum devices, then pressuring them into expensive treatments costing over 5,000 lempiras.
