Coffee Prices

International coffee prices on the New York futures exchange hovered around $278 per quintal (100 lb) on October 1, with the December contract trading near $287.78, setting the benchmark for Honduras's coffee market.

Honduras's coffee price slipped 0.8% year-over-year to $3.07 per kilogram in July, though the country remains among the world's top five coffee exporters and the crop sustains thousands of farming families.
