Honduras's national electricity company opened a three-month grace period for users with illegal or irregular electrical connections to formalize their service without facing administrative or criminal penalties for electricity theft.

The Municipal Water and Sanitation Unit (UMAPS) is offering an amnesty through October 12 for users with unpaid balances, with the option to pay a 10–30% down payment and finance the remainder over up to 18 months.

Honduras has enacted a four-month amnesty (through December 14) allowing individuals, businesses, and public agencies to settle civil-liability debts owed to the Superior Court of Audits by paying only the principal, with all interest, fines, and surcharges waived.
