Honduras's Housing Minister Francis Argeñal is rolling out a subsidy that applies a 50,000-lempira (about $2,000) bonus directly to the loan principal on homes up to 900,000 lempiras, cutting monthly payments by roughly 437 lempiras (about $18) for low-income families.
