Honduras Garment Industry Faces $500M Export Loss This Year

Honduras's garment and assembly industry will lose an estimated $500 million in exports by year-end, a 10% drop that reflects deeper competitiveness problems including high electricity and labor costs and shifting global markets, the regional manager of the Honduran Maquiladora Association said.
