Honduras Has Nearly 7,900 Multi-Grade Teachers

Education Ministry data show 7,956 teachers nationwide work in multi-grade classrooms, mostly in rural schools, where one or two teachers handle 27 students across different grade levels—far above UNESCO averages—leaving them unable to give each child adequate attention.
