Over 30,000 Hondurans Deported in 2026 as TPS Ends

Honduras's migration authority reported that more than 30,000 Hondurans have been deported from the US, Mexico, and Guatemala through August 20, 2026, and warned that ending Temporary Protected Status for 55,000 Hondurans could trigger mass deportations and threaten the $10 billion in remittances the country receives each year.
