Internal Displacement in Honduras Reaches 423,845 People

An estimated 423,845 Hondurans had been internally displaced by criminal threats, extortion and violence by the end of 2025, while more than 262,000 others sought international protection abroad, as climate change and economic vulnerability added to the pressures driving people to flee.
