Rights Chief Pushes Life Sentences for Killing Officials

Hugo Maldonado, president of the human rights committee CODEH, is urging a congressional commission to approve a decree imposing life sentences on anyone who kills prosecutors, police officers, judges, journalists, or human rights defenders.
