Tegucigalpa–Santa Lucía Road Project One-Third Complete

The alternate highway linking Tegucigalpa and Santa Lucía is 32.9% finished, with 3.65 kilometers paved so far on the L272.6 million ($10.9 million) project, which broke ground in December 2024 and, officials say, will ease traffic for 60,000 residents and relieve congestion on the main tourist route.
