Tegucigalpa's municipal water authority reactivated the Los Almendros well with an investment of L1.3 million (about $52,000), restoring a 300-gallon-per-minute source to serve roughly 15,000 residents as part of efforts to address the city's water shortage.

Honduras approved land expropriations to complete an 8-kilometer, $57.7 million southern bypass around Tegucigalpa, with affected landowners entitled to fair-market compensation.

Tegucigalpa's municipal government opened a temporary right-turn lane between Florencia Norte and Boulevard Suyapa for light vehicles to ease traffic while excavation work continues on the Florencia Tunnel, with restricted hours and a ban on heavy trucks.
