Roatán's municipal police launched a cleanup operation to remove abandoned and junked vehicles from public spaces across the island, including parking areas and beaches, to improve streets and public amenities.

Tela's municipality presented plans for a 1.5-kilometer linear park along a defunct canal, a tourism pier for boats and yachts, and a bike path to improve public spaces and marine-based tourism, though projects remain in design phase pending permits and financing.

The Tegucigalpa municipal government has reclaimed about 11 public areas—including the Cerrito de la Felicidad and plaza Isy Obed Murillo—that were abandoned and used for illegal dumping, adding lighting and police patrols while calling on residents to keep the spaces clean.
