Municipal Operations

The Tegucigalpa municipal government, national police, and the Belén market vendors' association launched a coordinated operation Friday to reorganize street access and relocate street vendors from priority traffic routes, aiming to improve circulation and customer access without evicting established merchants.

Tegucigalpa's municipal government launched operations to remove unauthorized street vendors, illegally parked vehicles, and obstacles from Comayagüela's markets, particularly Seventh Avenue, to improve traffic flow and pedestrian safety.

Municipal authorities in the city center and Los Dolores neighborhood removed illegally parked motorcycles from streets and sidewalks to clear traffic, ensure pedestrian safety, and improve transit order in those areas.
