Motorcycle Theft

A young man identified as Luis was killed and Josué Isaac Perdomo Molina, 19, was wounded when armed robbers opened fire on them during a motorcycle theft in Villanueva, Cortés early on September 2; both were heading to an industrial park to seek work.

National Police arrested two members of a criminal gang accused of stealing and dismantling motorcycles in Olanchito, Yoro.

Security camera footage circulating on social media shows a suspect threatening a couple and stealing their motorcycle in the Modelo neighborhood of Tegucigalpa, with no arrests or recovery of the bike reported so far.
