Military Operation

Acting on a court order and investigation into a July 4 attack on armed forces members, Honduras's Military Police raided a home in Siguatepeque suspected of involvement in drug trafficking, weapons storage, stolen-motorcycle dismantling, and other crimes, seizing marijuana, cocaine, ammunition, and vehicle parts.

Military and police seized 565 board feet of illegally logged cedar wood in Quimistán, Santa Bárbara, following anonymous reports of environmental crimes and illegal forest harvesting in the region.

The Honduran Armed Forces and Public Ministry dismantled ten coca plantations, a marijuana crop, and three drug-processing facilities in Botaderos National Park in Tocoa, Colón, seizing over 125,500 coca bushes and chemical precursors used in narcotics production.
