Honduras claimed five medals on the opening day of the Pan-American Sambo Championship in Costa Rica, including a gold medal from Brad Flores in the men's heavyweight division and medals across multiple weight classes in both sport sambo and combat sambo.

Honduras claimed six gold, one silver, and two bronze medals at the Central American Bodybuilding and Fitness Championship in San Salvador, finishing second in the team standings behind Guatemala.
