An Ontario garlic farm is hiring Hondurans at CAD $17.95 per hour (about L430/hour) for planting, tending, and harvesting; applicants must already have Canadian work authorization and apply by October 12.

The Labor Ministry launched a free online platform for Hondurans seeking temporary jobs abroad through legal channels, allowing them to register in a database that foreign employers can access for positions in agriculture, construction, and services.

Honduras's ambassador to Spain announced that about 2,000 additional Honduran workers have been pre-selected for agricultural jobs in Spain, building on an existing group of 1,100 already in the country, with selection to begin in October for January arrival.

The Honduran Labor Ministry announced temporary job openings in Spain, Canada, and the United States for Honduran citizens meeting requirements including a clean criminal and migration record, with positions in agriculture, hospitality, logistics, and other sectors.

Spain has made available 2,000 additional job openings for Hondurans following diplomatic negotiations by Honduras's embassy in Madrid.

Honduras will send 1,000 workers to Spain in 2026 under a circular migration program coordinated with Spain, Guatemala, and the Inter-American Development Bank, up from over 800 Honduran agricultural workers placed in 2025, with formal contracts and a 97% return rate.
