Coca Eradication

Honduras's armed forces destroyed illegal coca and marijuana plantations in Olancho and Colón, seizing approximately 22,000 coca plants across four acres in Dulce Nombre de Culmí and 7,000 marijuana plants on two acres near Tocoa as part of nationwide drug-trafficking operations.

Armed Forces units seized three coca plantations spanning seven acres with 25,000 bushes and a marijuana plot with 3,500 plants in Olanchito and El Bañadero in Yoro department, part of a broader 2026 drug-eradication campaign that has already secured 54 coca farms.
