Monsignor Patricio Larrosa has been ordained and installed as bishop of the Diocese of Danlí in eastern Honduras, pledging to focus his ministry on vulnerable communities affected by migration, poverty, and violence.

Pope Leo XIV named Spanish priest Patricio Larrosa, who has served as a missionary and educator in Honduras for 34 years, as bishop of the Danlí diocese in El Paraíso department, taking office July 25 with a focus on addressing migration, poverty, and strengthening religious vocations.
