Honduras Adopts Global Sustainability Accounting Standards

Honduras is adopting NIIF S1 and NIIF S2, international sustainability accounting standards that will require large corporations to disclose climate risks and opportunities in financial reports starting in 2028, a move meant to improve transparency and access to green financing.
