Cardamom Exports Bring In More Than $16 Million a Year

Honduras produces about 80,000 quintals (roughly 3,600 metric tons) of cardamom a year, exporting more than half for over $16 million in foreign exchange, making it an increasingly important crop for the western and Atlantic coast regions.
