Honduras Expands Seasonal Farm-Work Program in Spain

Labor Minister Fernando Puerto said Honduras placed 1,361 workers this year in a temporary farm program in Huelva, Spain, harvesting berries and citrus, and plans to expand to 3,400 placements in 2027 through what officials call circular migration, which allows repeat participation.
