Honduras's new BIEN digital wallet, which links national databases for identity, security, and migration, was built by a consortium led by International Technology Group (ITG), a firm tied to a multimillion-dollar Social Security contract under investigation and a canceled customs deal, raising concerns about data protection in a country with no data-privacy law.
