Dry Corridor Drought Wipes Out 70,000 Maize Farmers

An Oxfam assessment found that El Niño-driven drought destroyed maize crops for more than 70,000 farming households across Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador, with 78.6% losing 75% to 100% of their harvest, 23,000 households cut off from water, and more than 6,200 migration movements recorded.
