Lempira Weakens Toward 27 Per Dollar, Threatening Import Costs

The Honduran lempira has slipped to 26.98 per dollar, and economist Dante Mossi warns it could break the 27-lempira mark by late September or early October, potentially raising prices for imported goods including fuel.
