International Animal-Rights Group Presses Honduras on Cruelty Cases

The animal-welfare group PETA has written to Honduras's attorney general demanding an investigation and charges in the case of Spike, a dog dragged behind a vehicle in Choloma — one of at least 27 animal-abuse complaints police have received this year — pointing to widespread impunity in such cases.
