Government Sends L1.1 Billion to Drought-Stricken Towns

Honduras's Finance Ministry is advancing more than 1.1 billion lempiras (about $44 million) in municipal transfers to 75 drought-hit towns to fund emergency food supplies and aid for the families worst affected by the prolonged dry spell.
