Tegucigalpa Mayor Juan Diego Zelaya wants to reclassify Toncontín Airport to allow regional flights to San Salvador, Guatemala, Panama, and Costa Rica, arguing that the distance to Palmerola puts the capital at a disadvantage in drawing investment and conferences.
