Social Conflicts Rise as 88.6% of Public Grievances Go Unanswered

Honduras recorded 437 social conflicts in the first half of 2026—more than two collective actions a day across 97 municipalities, led by the education, labor, and health sectors—and authorities have yet to address 88.6% of the public's demands.
