Rights Ombudsman Presses for Action on Fishing Communities

Honduras's National Human Rights Ombudsman, Blanca Izaguirre, urged government agencies to prioritize human security and meet their obligations to fishing communities, including the compensation payments and educational scholarships ordered by the Inter-American Court of Human Rights in a 2021 ruling against the Honduran state.
