UNICEF Urges Schools and Families to Curb Child Pregnancies

The UNICEF representative in Honduras said the country has one of the world's highest rates of adolescent pregnancy, with more than 20,000 girls becoming pregnant each year—many of them under 15, cases classified as sexual assault—and called for coordinated action across schools, families, and communities on both prevention and victim support.
