Tegucigalpa Flags 763 Flood-Risk Neighborhoods, Plans L700M in Prevention

Tegucigalpa's city government has identified 763 neighborhoods at high risk from heavy rains and flooding, including 225 communities especially vulnerable to overflows from the Choluteca River, and plans to spend about L700 million (roughly $28 million) this year on prevention infrastructure.
