A tropical wave moving west across Honduras from Gracias a Dios will bring 10–20 mm of rain (up to 40 mm in high areas of the Sula Valley) and thunderstorms to the north starting around 3 p.m., with San Pedro Sula authorities warning residents of flood risk in vulnerable neighborhoods.
