Palmerola CEO Says Honduras Faces $800K Monthly Penalty Over Airport Switch

The CEO of Palmerola International Airport said Honduras faces a contractual penalty of $800,000 a month if it fails to move all flights to Palmerola and fully close Toncontín, though Congress has recommended keeping Toncontín open for domestic flights only once Palmerola begins commercial operations.
