Honduras to Import 100,000 Quintals of Beans as Drought Cuts Harvest

Agriculture Minister Moisés Molina said Honduras will import 100,000 quintals of beans — about 4,500 metric tons — from Nicaragua, Paraguay, and Brazil to offset a drought that has cut domestic production 40% and to steady prices for a staple of the Honduran diet.
