Government Launches Housing Subsidy Program for 5,000 Families

The Housing Ministry plans to subsidize home purchases for about 5,000 low-income families by year's end, earmarking more than 1 billion lempiras (about $40 million) in direct credits and state subsidies for households earning less than half the minimum wage.
