Honduras Shores Up Chamelecón River Levees Near Airport

Infrastructure Secretary Aníbal Erler inspected work reinforcing the Chamelecón River levees in La Lima, Cortés, a L1.5–1.6 billion project (about $60–64 million) meant to shield citrus farms, communities, and the international airport from flooding during heavy rains.
