Two Former Central Bank Officials Face Misappropriation Charges

Luis Arturo Avilés Moncada and Aracely O'hara Guillén, former officials of the Central Bank of Honduras, appeared voluntarily before a national criminal court and were released under conditions — including periodic check-ins and a travel ban — ahead of an initial hearing set for June 18 on charges of reckless misappropriation of public funds.
