School Director Dies by Suicide Day After Expelled Student's Death

The principal of Instituto Polivalente Brisas del Valle in Cofradía, Cortés, was found dead of an apparent suicide on May 29, less than 24 hours after 14-year-old student Violeth Eunice Acosta also died by suicide following her expulsion from the school.
