Honduras has received and is arranging the return of 365 Mexican citizens deported from the United States, providing shelter, food, and assistance at a migrant center in San Pedro Sula as part of a reciprocal arrangement with Mexico.

Experts warn that between 45,000 and 50,000 Hondurans could be deported from the United States by year-end, more than double the pace of 2025 and potentially exceeding levels seen during 2018–2019, driven by stricter US enforcement policies.
