The National Electric Company has announced an 8-hour power outage on October 3 in multiple communities across Comayagua department for routine maintenance work on a distribution circuit.

The national power company ENEE will cut electricity from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, across dozens of neighborhoods in three departments for scheduled electrical circuit maintenance.

The national power utility ENEE announced scheduled electricity cuts in multiple communities throughout Comayagua on September 12 to perform emergency repairs on a damaged structure, while previously planned outages in Intibucá and La Paz were canceled.

ENEE will cut power in parts of Comayagua and La Paz on June 27 from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM for scheduled grid maintenance and operational work.

About 70% of buildings at the Cajón Dam's worker camps show significant deterioration, with 12 homes deemed uninhabitable and repairs estimated to cost over 60 million lempiras (about $2.4 million), according to technical assessments.

Multiple zones across Comayagua will lose power for at least six hours on Saturday, June 6, from 8:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. due to ENEE maintenance work.
